The terms for using Steeple.
Steeple is a product of Heard Studio LLC, a Georgia limited liability company in Brunswick, Georgia ("Heard Studio", "we", "us"). These terms cover the website at sundaydone.church, the Steeple app at app.sundaydone.church, and the done-for-you service called Sunday, Done (together, "Steeple"). By using Steeple, including creating an account, connecting a social account, or sending us a service recording, you agree to these terms on behalf of your church or organization ("your church"). Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your information. Steeple is offered to churches and organizations in the United States.
1. Your account
You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for your church. You are responsible for the people you invite to your church's account and for what they approve. Keep your sign-in to yourself and tell us at hello@sundaydone.church if you think someone else has used it.
2. What Steeple does
Steeple takes a recording of your service and prepares a sermon-only video, chapters, captions, short vertical clips, thumbnails and suggested titles and descriptions, and shows them to you on a review page. When you connect a YouTube channel, Facebook Page, Instagram account or TikTok account, Steeple can post or schedule the items you approve to that account. Steeple is in early access: features will change, and we may add, change or remove features with notice where a change affects what you pay for.
3. Nothing is posted without approval
In the Steeple app, Steeple posts to a connected account only after a person on your church's account approves that specific item, with its title, description and visibility. You can change or cancel a scheduled post until it goes out. You are responsible for what you approve.
On Sunday, Done, your church gives Heard Studio standing approval in your Sunday, Done order to publish your weekly set, using access your church grants us in the platform's own tools. We never post a clip flagged as showing children unless a person at your church approves that clip.
4. Connected accounts and the platforms' own terms
When you connect an account, you authorize Steeple to act on that account only as described here and in our Privacy Policy, and you can disconnect it at any time from your account settings or from the platform's own settings. Each platform's terms continue to apply to everything posted there:
- YouTube. Steeple uses YouTube API Services. By using Steeple, including connecting a YouTube channel, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
- Facebook and Instagram. Posting to a Facebook Page or Instagram professional account is subject to Meta's Terms of Service and Instagram's Terms of Use.
- TikTok. Posting to TikTok is subject to TikTok's Terms of Service, and each post to TikTok is also subject to TikTok's Music Usage Confirmation (and its Branded Content Policy when you mark a post as branded).
The platforms decide what stays up. We are not responsible for a platform removing, limiting, muting or claiming a post (for example a Content ID claim on worship music), for a platform changing or ending its API, or for an outage on a platform's side.
5. Your content
Your church owns its recordings and the finished outputs Steeple makes from them. Steeple's software, templates, designs and typefaces stay ours; you may use them as part of your outputs, including after you leave. You give Heard Studio a limited license to store, process, transcribe, edit, render and post your content as described here, to provide Steeple to you, and, while we hold it under section 9, to fix problems and check Steeple's quality. We will not show your outputs or name your church in our marketing without your permission. We may use statistics that do not identify your church. We do not sell your content, and we do not use your recordings to train AI models.
You promise that you have the rights to what you send us and to what you approve for posting, including the people who appear in it. Worship music is the most common problem: a CCLI, CCS or ONE LICENSE streaming license does not stop YouTube's Content ID or Meta's music rules. Steeple flags clips that may show congregation faces or children; deciding whether you have permission to post them is yours.
6. Machine-assisted work
Transcripts, captions, clip choices, titles, descriptions and Scripture checks are produced with software, including AI models, and can be wrong. The review page is there so a person at your church checks them before anything goes out.
7. Fair use of Steeple
Don't use Steeple to post anything unlawful, anything you don't have the rights to, or anything that breaks a platform's rules; don't try to get around plan limits, probe or overload our systems, or resell Steeple except under a written agency agreement with us.
8. Plans and payment
Plans and prices are listed at sundaydone.church/#pricing. Your first Sunday is free and needs no card. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel online at any time in Settings → Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. We will email yearly subscribers before each renewal. A yearly plan's price is fixed until it renews, and we will give at least 30 days' notice before any price change applies to you.
Refunds. Monthly plans: we don't refund part of a month. When you cancel, Steeple keeps working until the paid month ends. Services you don't use in a month carry over to the next month, then expire. Yearly plans: if you cancel within 30 days after a yearly plan starts or renews, we refund the yearly price minus $79 for each month started; after that, the plan runs to the end of its year without a refund. If we miss your Sunday through our own fault, write to us within 7 days and we'll credit that service.
Sunday, Done's billing, notice period, price-change notice, refunds and credits are set in your Sunday, Done order (our standard retainer terms).
9. Keeping and deleting your content
We keep service recordings for 14 days and finished outputs for 90 days, then delete them, so the review page keeps working without holding your video forever. Download anything you want to keep. If you close your account or ask us to, we delete your content and connected-account data as described in our Privacy Policy and on the data deletion page.
10. Ending the service
You can stop using Steeple and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other churches, the platforms or Steeple at risk; where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it and download your content.
11. Disclaimers
STEEPLE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, HEARD STUDIO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES NOT STATED IN THESE TERMS, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE, AND THE ACCURACY OF MACHINE-GENERATED TRANSCRIPTS, CAPTIONS, TITLES OR SCRIPTURE CHECKS.
12. Limits on liability
TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, HEARD STUDIO IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST VIEWS, FOLLOWERS, DONATIONS OR DATA, AND HEARD STUDIO'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ABOUT STEEPLE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) WHAT YOUR CHURCH PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100. THESE LIMITS DO NOT APPLY TO GROSS NEGLIGENCE, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT OR FRAUD.
13. Responsibility for your content
Your church will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Heard Studio against third-party claims arising from content you sent us or approved for posting, or from your breach of these terms. We will tell you promptly about a claim, let you control the defense, and help at your cost; you won't settle a claim that admits fault for us without our written consent. On Sunday, Done, the responsibility terms in your order apply instead.
14. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will post the new version here with a new date and email the account owner at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Steeple after that date means you accept the change. A change does not apply to a dispute that arose before it took effect. If a change materially hurts you and you are on a yearly plan, you may cancel before it takes effect and we will refund the unused months.
15. Georgia law
These terms are governed by Georgia law. Before filing anything, each side will try for 30 days to resolve a dispute by email. Any lawsuit will be brought only in the state courts located in Glynn County, Georgia, or the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia, Brunswick Division, except that either side may bring a claim in a magistrate (small claims) court that has jurisdiction.
16. Copyright complaints
If you believe content stored on Steeple infringes your copyright, send a notice that meets 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) to Heard Studio LLC, Attn: Copyright Agent, at hello@sundaydone.church. We will remove or disable the material and close the accounts of repeat infringers. Complaints about content posted on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok go to that platform.
17. The rest
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement for Steeple. If your church has a signed agreement or order with Heard Studio, it controls where it differs from these terms. You may not transfer these terms without our written consent; we may transfer them to a company that acquires Steeple, and we will tell you. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including storms, power or internet outages, platform outages or platform API changes; on Sunday, Done, a Sunday missed for these reasons is delivered as soon as possible after, not refunded. If a part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver. Sections 5, 9 and 11 to 15 survive the end of your account. We send notices to the account owner's email; send yours to hello@sundaydone.church.
